I’ve been asked recently about what I do to get inspired if I’m in an artistic slump. One of the things that always works is pulling one of my Stampington magazines off the shelf: Art Journaling. Somerset Studio. Bella Grace. In Her Studio. They have so many to choose from! Flipping through the pages and […]
I absolutely love the way this tactile, fiber arts book turned out. It could definitely become a journal if you added sayings on small tags and attached them throughout. It could also hold pins for sewing. This book is SOLD. Thank you so much! xxLynn
Hey, friends! I just shared my January 2023 junk journal on my YouTube channel. I will provide a link to that video below. I will also share a link to the video where I show you the contents of the Fun Pack. The Fun Packs are always great to use to make junk journals. I […]
Just remembering these beautiful, old-fashioned Christmas journals I made in 2020. One of my favorites ever — the one I kept for myself. It sits on a shelf in my dining room. I called this series of journals “a handmade Christmas.” xxLynn
I love old postcards! Enjoy this vintage Victorian Christmas postcard. xxLynn
Here is a page of scanned items from my vintage ephemera collection. I love the New Art Catalogue ad from Soule Photograph Co. Feel free to enjoy these in your projects. xxLynn
While going through some ephemera yesterday I came across this vintage ladies’ magazine page. There were three patterns on one side of the page and two on the other. I just love the “three practical garments.” I also love the way the numbers are written. xxLynn
From 1890, this Miss Stena circus poster is great. It would be a great journal cover. xxLynn
My Mama has a tiny little greenhouse. It is just as neat and clean and inviting as everything else she does. It’s perfect, and it’s perfectly her. I was once inspired to paint a few pots of petunias that were blooming brightly behind some hostas in the corner of her greenhouse. xxLynn
Just a pretty old illustration and poem from 1888. Would be a great illustration for Valentine’s Day. xxLynn
I came across this image in an old magazine. I believe the artist was someone named Margo Peck. It’s a sweet old paper doll. xxLynn
